Profile PMS Plastics was started in June 1989 by Philip
Maye who has his roots in Ireland. Philip started as a sole propiertor
who serviced and repaired Injection Moulding Machines in Johannesburg
and Pretoria.As the business grew he soon found himself doing the
same in Durban and Cape Town.
Over the years the company has expanded tremendously and has increased
its workforce 10 fold. In 2000 we aquired more premises and started
servicing other coutries in Africa, i.e. Zambia, Mocambique, Zimbabwe
and Nigeria.
Philip, the cornerstone of the business,
was approached by various international vendors to resell and support
their products in the South African and African market. This was the
begining of a new chapter as we introduced new machinery and Auxillary
Equipment. Currently our business includes the sales, service and
repairs of Injection Moulding Machines, Blow Moulding Machines and
Auxiliary Equipment for the Plastics Industry.
Today PMS Plastics is a strong force in the Plastics Industry with a large client base. At present we are importing the first PET Injection Moulding Plant in South Africa and we are very proud of this accomplishment.
